If you haven't practiced enough before a performance, you will be lacking the confidence you need to perform the trick. NEVER REPEAT A TRICK! You should never repeat the same trick for the same crowd. They will soon catch on to your "tricks" and begin to point you out in front f people; this is NOT cool. NEVER EVER, EVER REVEAL A SECRET! If you reveal the secret to a spectator or any layperson, all is lost. The spectators will lose interest, as you will just be a jokester to them, not a magician. You must maintain some level of mystery, and keep your spectators bewildered.
